Your license

When you buy Rehome, [company legal name] gives you a personal license for one household: up to 3 Home Assistant installs, with any number of iPads or screens in that home. Please don't share, publish or resell your key, or get around the key check. Without a key, Rehome shows a sample home.

What you need

Rehome needs Home Assistant at home, and an iPad or iPhone with Safari. On Home Assistant OS or a Supervised install, Rehome installs as an add-on. On Home Assistant in Docker or Core, it runs as its own small container next to Home Assistant, once that version is released. It needs the internet once to add your key, then checks in about once a week. If it can't reach us, it keeps working for about 6 weeks before it goes back to the sample home. Some features depend on your iPad's age, and very old iPads run a simpler version.

Rehome is an independent product. It isn't made by, affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc., Home Assistant or Nabu Casa.

Not a safety device

Don't rely on Rehome for alarms, doorbells, cameras or anything else where a missed alert could cause harm. A screen can sleep, lose power or lose its connection.

Stand kits

Follow the build guide and the stated device size and weight limits. Keep the stand and its cables away from water, heat and small children. [Limits after stand testing]
